22 Jun WITH THE AIM OF IMPROVING THE COMMUNICATION POLICY OF THE LADIES’ UNION OF DRAMA- H.O.H. THE FIRST “MARKETING PLAN” WAS DELIVERED
The first marketing plan prepared for the communication needs of the Ladies’ Union of Drama – H.O.H. was received by the president Aliki Tsiamoura.
The detailed plan has a double objective, namely a medium-term one concerning the improvement of the communication policy and the strengthening of the brand of the Ladies’ Union of Drama – House of Open Hospitality (H.O.H), with an emphasis on the society of the city, as also a long-term one concerning the celebration of 120 years of operation of the institution (1904-2024).
The material delivered to the organization was the result of three rounds of training for the Board of Directors and staff and related to the sections Public Relations, Publicity, Exercise of Institutional Pressure, Advocacy, Marketing, Communication, Branding, Social Media. The trainer was Economist and Certified Adult Life Trainer, Zisis Papadopoulos, who, among other things, emphasized: “the communication and interaction with the scientific staff of the Ladies’ Union of Drama was a unique experience and gave me the opportunity to penetrate deeply and understand the operation of the organization, the range of services provided, the values, the collaborations, the distinctions, but above all the passion and devotion that characterizes the lively staff and the president, Aliki Tsiamoura. This guide inevitably maintains an educational character, as it aspires to be a daily tool, a “seafarer’s guide”, a practical and tangible point of reference that will enable the effective application of marketing tools and techniques….”
The seminars were implemented in the framework of the “Mobile School Travels” program with the aim of strengthening the capacities and maximizing the social impact of the institution.
After three years of interventions only within Drama, the Mobile School from 2020 until today is taking place three times a week in areas of Drama, Kavala and Xanthi, in order to approach Roma children who either for social or family reasons are excluded from the school communities and cannot have a regular education.
The project “The Mobile School Travels” is implemented within the framework of the Active citizensfund program, with the implementing body of the Ladies’ Union of Drama – House of Open Hospitality (ΗΟΗ). The Active citizens fund program, amounting to €13,5 million, is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and is part of the financial mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) for the period 2014 – 2021, known as EEA Grants. The program aims to strengthen and optimize the sustainability of civil society, as well to highlight its role in promoting democratic processes, strengthening citizens’ participation in society and defending human rights. The management of the grant of the Active citizens fund program for Greece has been undertaken jointly by the Bodosaki Foundation and the Solidarity Now. Read more here: www.activecitizensfund.gr
