Dear friends,
Welcome to the website of “The mobile school travels” project. It is a ground-breaking and innovative program that is implemented within the Active Citizens Fund program. The mobile school and the team of the Ladies Union of Drama – House of Open Hospitality, after two years of interventions within the town of Drama, will have the opportunity to travel to the Prefectures of Kavala and Xanthi through the program and to approach children that are excluded from schools or that due to their family environment cannot attend school normally.
I would like to express my gratitude and a big thank you to the Active Citizens Fund program which gave us the opportunity to travel to areas of East Macedonia and Thrace through funding. I would also like to thank the Bodossaki Foundation for the valuable cooperation over the years, as well as the Solidarity Now organization that will jointly manage the program. I extend my sincerest thanks to the civil non-profit company “Panos & Cressida 4Life” for providing a specially designed van that will transport the team and the mobile school.
Lastly, I wish to thank the Mobile School organization that entrusted us with the mobile school in 2017. Since then, its development in the remote region of Drama is laudable. With two awards and hundreds of interventions, our team and the mobile school spread their wings and travel through the program in the Prefectures of Drama, Kavala and Xanthi.
