The actions of the “Mobile School Travels” project of the Ladies’ Union of Drama – H.O.H. continue.
Thematic actions on racism, xenophobia, environmental protection
The “Mobile School Travels” project team of the Ladies’ Union of Drama- House of Open Hospitality, with charged batteries and after a short break of vacation, returned energetically for more “mobile school” actions and not only that.
Alongside the interventions with the mobile school, thematic actions related to racism, xenophobia and environmental protection are carried out. Due to the outbreak of Covid 19, interventions are limited for a period of time only to the city of Drama, and to the regional municipalities of Doxato (Kalampaki), Paranesti (Nikiforos, Paranesti) and Prosotsani (Prosotsani).

The three-year project “the Mobile School Travels” carries out interventions in Roma camps in the Prefectures of Drama, Kavala and Xanthi with the aim of reaching 450 young people (children and adults).
The project “The Mobile School Travels” is implemented within the framework of the Active citizensfund program, with the implementing body of the Ladies’ Union of Drama – House of Open Hospitality (H.O.H). The Active citizens fund program, amounting to €12 million, is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and is part of the financial mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) for the period 2014 – 2021, known as EEA Grants. The program aims to strengthen and optimize the sustainability of civil society, as well to highlight its role in promoting democratic processes, strengthening citizens’ participation in society and defending human rights.
