17 Jun Advertising campaign on a city bus and central station of Kavala
A dynamic advertising campaign of the project “The Mobile School Travels” started in the city of Kavala on June 1st to be completed at the end of December this year.
The campaign runs on a city bus and at a central city stop. The aim of the action is to inform the general public in the context of promotion and publicity of the project. With the lifting of the restrictive measures every Wednesday, the Mobile School is located in Chrysochori and Piges, Kavala, approaching Roma children.
After two years of interventions in Drama, the Mobile School is located three times a week in areas of Drama, Kavala and Xanthi, in order to reach Roma children who are excluded from school communities or due to the family environment they can not have regular education.
The project “The Mobile School Travels” is implemented within the framework of the Active citizens fund program, with the implementing body the Ladies Union of Drama – H.O.H The Active citizens fund program, amounting to € 12 million, is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and is part of the European Economic Area (EEA) funding mechanism for the period 2014 – 2021, known as EEA Grants. The program aims to strengthen and enhance the sustainability of civil society and to highlight its role in promoting democratic processes, enhancing citizen participation in the community and defending human rights. The management of the Active citizens fund program in Greece has been jointly undertaken by the Bodosakis Foundation and SolidarityNow.
